MONA!!!
This is Mona, our 3 year old Colorado Mascot! I think we should point out that she started her CBD drops on 4/20 IN Colorado, so she clearly has earned the title – now let’s see what it does for her! This sweet girl was rescued a year ago and unfortunately had a history of mange that was treated successfully, but seemed to translate into other chronic skin issues. Her mom, Lauren reports that Mona has had issues with hot spots along her whole hind end, including her tail causing discomfort, itching, licking, etc. They have tried shaving those areas, steroids, topical ointments, diet, zyrtec and now she is on an immune modulator injection, apoquel and CBD. Because the drugs can be taxing to her immune system, they are hoping to transition off of them asap! CBD is amazing for the immune system and is an anti-inflammatory and pain reliever.
